We own a few select broodmares that are the foundation of our program. They are daughters of Smart Little Lena, Shining Spark, Doc O'Lena, Chic Please and Grays Starlight. We believe in a strong dam line and have carefully selected each mare on these merits. All our mares are money earners, with the exception of Viola White~she was without question, welcomed into our broodmare band on the basis of her outstanding pedigree and the money earners she has produced.
Each year we spend an incredible amount of time researching each stallion
that we are considering for the mares. We study pedigree, performance
earnings, get earnings and sale results. We don't believe in selecting
horses that are "hot" at the moment but ones that have the potential to be
major contributors in producing outstanding offspring. It is our sole
desire to produce good looking, trainable horses that posses the talent
and most importantly, the heart of a champion.
